Imagine a community taking charge of health issues together.
Imagine all organizations, community members, and different disciplines truly collaborating to focus on the same issue. Imagine a community vision that defines public health so broadly that it includes not only physical, but mental/emotional, economic, educational, cultural and environmental health. With over fifty organizations participating and numerous individuals, that is what is happening with MAPP of the SKP (Southern Kenai Peninsula) Communities. For more information, contact a steering member using the "contact us" link on the left. 'We are committed to forming new and creative partnerships to improve the health of our community. For more information on this evolving partnership, click HERE for a report from a June 2011 event we held on "Deepening Collaboration."
